Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and American Express® have announced that they are jointly sponsoring a Snowdogs by the Sea sculpture.
*
Named ‘Rose’, in honour of the club’s original bulldog mascot and sporting the latest Albion kit, Snowdog Rose has been designed by Deven Bhurke, Hampshire based Graphic Designer and Artist, whose public art work involves abstracts, geometrical patterns and fun-loving characters.
*
Albion fans will be able to catch a glimpse of Snowdog Rose at the Amex Stadium on Saturday 24 September. Rose is being prominently placed for the duration of the art trail in front of the stadium store, just along from the giant image of her namesake Rose the bulldog, already on display at the stadium’s North Stand reception.*
*
The Snowdogs by the Sea public art trail is being organised by local charity, Martlets Hospice, in conjunction with Wild in Art, one of the UK’s leading creative producers of public art events. The art trail lasts for nine weeks from 24th September - 27th November 2016. At the end of the event each of the 45 Snowdogs will be auctioned to raise funds for the hospice.
