This Saturday 7th September marks the return of Non-League Day across England, as fans of Premier League and Football League clubs are encouraged to support their local grassroots clubs during the international break.A whole host of matches across the Non-League Pyramid are on the doorstep of many Albion fans this Saturday.
High-profile encounters include Whitehawk’s match against Basingstoke at The Enclosed Ground. Prices are £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and Under-16s.
Lewes are also in action at the Dripping Pan this Saturday in a Ryman League clash against Metropolitan Police. Admission for adults is £11, £6 for concessions and free for all Under-16s.
There is a full fixture list in The FA Vase, as Saltdean United take on Southwick, and Mile Oak host Arundel in two of the closest matches.
Little Common FC, based in Bexhill, are fully embracing the spirit of the day; with free admittance offered to all season ticket holders at any one of the 92 clubs for their match versus East Preston in the Sussex Charity Cup.
The Sussex Senior Cup, Sussex County League and Sussex County League Cup also have fixtures this weekend. Selected fixtures see Rustington take on Lancing, Ringmer face Rye United and Wick & Barnham host Worthing United.
