We are trying very hard but what we have got is some players back from injury"
Chris Hughton

Chris Hughton confirmed Kazenga LuaLua is primed for a return to action when Brighton & Hove Albion host Nottingham Forest next Saturday at the Amex.

LuaLua has been sidelined since November and Hughton says he hopes to have the winger and Dale Stephens back in action soon, as the January transfer deadline looms. He told seagulls.co.uk, “LuaLua has trained with us this week and will be available for selection for the next game.
“Dale has returned from a long period out but has got some good training under his belt and a couple of games, and of course we signed Kayal this week.
“So we have got some coming back which is good, but our responsibility is to make this squad as strong as we can so we can finish the season as strong as we can.
“We are working very hard the same as everyone else. We of course have the benefit that once that window closes a week or so later the loan window opens and we are able to work off that.
“There are some clubs that won’t let players leave at this stage but that may change in a week’s time but we are trying very hard but what we have got is some players back from injury.”

Albion have a week to dust themselves down after the defeat to Blackpool in preparation for a busy period which sees one homes game – against Nottingham Forest, followed by two away trips to Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday.
"We showed some character against Blackpool but it was a real bad blow because we have been in good form. There have been some really good signs lately and of course it is a setback.
"What we have to do is make sure it is a setback and gives ourselves the best possibly opportunity to bounce back.
"Sometimes it hits home and it is a reflection of how tough this league is and where we have been. We need to make sure we turn it around again."
