OK so this new and improved way of signing up to access the site and its uses, well according to the latest news piece its been in place since September 1st and yet they tell us NOW that if we dont sign up to the new registration by 1st November then we wont be able to access the site (I believe they mean news/databse etc).

Now I visit the site at least 2 times everyday and have done since its inception (whenever that was) and I certainly dont remember any other news item on this. So they leave it 2 weeks before the deadline so people who've buggered off on holiday and dont know about this will suddenly not be able to gather news on their fave team because they hav'nt re-registered properly.

OK so by now we know that updates have to be done by the World employees who get storys off us so the late updates are not always "our official" sites fault....but still.....Sept 1st, ITS NOW MID OCTOBER!

Shocking to say the least!

/end rant

London
I noticed last night that the old bitch who drives the bus on South Park is called Ms Crabtree.

Just another example of the p!ss poor official site. This is just the latest example of not keeping it updated same as ticket information and everything else that people complain about here.

BUT...

It must be a club issue and not Premium TV. Like many others I used the Reading site during the Coppell saga to keep up to date with things. They appear to have loads of information and news each day and no bloody pop ups every time you open a new window.

It smacks of being done on the cheap - especially as they can't even spell check items properly (See tonights story quoting our 'Chief Exceutive').

They make a big play of the number of hits it gets but this won't continue if the quality keeps deteriorating as it is now.

I guess we've all been aware of the poor nature of the site for some time now - and as for Seagulls World! Great if you can't pick up the SCR broadcasts but on most occassions when I have tried to get the online match commentry it hasn't worked (sometimes due to my machine but not always).

The point is - we know it is out of date - you can get information quicker on this site, we know it is poor on content, so why use it?

Surely SCR could broadcast the match live on the bbc website - the braod cast iss BBC property afterall.

What is the position of payments to the club for usage - did this change when the original deal was restructured?

Seem to be arguing with myself - hey ho - confused now!
