Albion fans are advised to allow additional travel time when coming to today's game against Leicester City due to a bumper crowd at the American Express Community Stadium and large numbers of Christmas shoppers expected to be heading into the city centre for one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
The club will be holding a minute's applause in memory of Nelson Mandela immediately prior to kick-off.
Club safety officer Chris Baker said, "We are encouraging all supporters to leave a little bit earlier than usual for what could be a slightly extended journey, as there are also other events taking place in Brighton this weekend allowing that little bit of extra time will ensure no one misses any of the match."
Meanwhile fans travelling by train and using the service between Seaford and Lewes are advised to allow even more additional time as the line is flooded and a replacement bus service will operate. Further details can be found on the Southern Rail website.
