Albion duo have been nominated for the Sky Bet monthly awards.
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton and striker Tomer Hemed have been nominated for February’s Sky Bet Football League Manager and Player of the Month Awards respectively.
*
Albion are well placed in the play-offs, after a draw at the KC Stadium, wins over Brentford, Bolton and consecutive 4-0 victories over Bristol City and Leeds United in February. Hughton’s men were only beaten once in the month, at Cardiff City.
*
Hemed’s form has been a key factor in Albion’s recent form, scoring five goals last month, including two against Leeds and goals against Brentford, Bolton and Bristol City, to put the Israeli international on 11 goals for the season.
