The most recent encounter between the two sides was on the opening day of last season in Oscar Garcia’s first competitive match in charge.
Leonardo Ulloa gave Albion the lead in the 12th minute following a fine start to the match, before seeing his strike cancelled out by Ross McCormack after a flick on from Luke Varney.
Andrew Crofts and Inigo Calderon both had chances to win the game for Albion, only to be denied by a stunning double save from keeper Paddy Kenny.
The sides looked like sharing the spoils until Luke Murphy bundled home a last-minute winner to give the hosts all three points.Leeds 1 Albion 2

It was a different story just four months earlier in a memorable meeting between the sides, when Ulloa’s late winner secured Albion a play-off place as only 19 players remained on the pitch at full-time.
Will Buckley fired home a tenth minute strike after capitalising on a defensive error by Tom Lees to give the blue-and-white-stripes an early lead.
Matters worsened for the hosts just moments later, when Rodolph Austin was given his marching orders inside the opening 15 minutes after appearing to push Ashley Barnes in the face.
Inigo Calderon then saw red 15 minutes from time for bringing down El Hadji Diouf inside the box, allowing the Sengalese international to equalise from the spot before being sent off himself for a provocative gesture toward the Albion fans.
Ulloa nodded home Andrea Orlandi’s pin-point ball into the box two minutes from time to secure a top-six spot.

10th September 2005
Jonathan Douglas’s last-minute equaliser secured a point for Leeds in a scintillating Championship fixture.
The hosts had been in fine defensive form ahead of the game, before Leon Knight scored the first goal against the Yorkshire side in 411 minutes of football with a close-range finish from a flowing moe.
The Seagulls then doubled their advantage six minutes after the interval through Sebastien Carole, but Leeds hit back with a brace from Northern Ireland marksman David Healy to bring parity to the scoreline.
Sean Gregan looked to have gifted Mark McGhee’s men all three points after his own goal seven minutes before time, until Douglas struck late on to end a pulsating match.
