There is a break from league football this weekend, but there are still plenty of betting opportunities with Sky Bet!While England are virtually unbackable at 1/16 against Moldova, if you are confident that this will be a stroll for Roy Hodgson's side then there is a little value in backing "over 3.5 goals" at Evens, while 4-1 at 22/1 catches the eye. In the goalscorer markets Stephen Gerrard stands out at a reliable 15/2, although Rickie Lambert (9/2) will also have his share of backers.* Jermaine Defoe (4/1) could be a decent shout for last goal if - as the media predicts - he starts from the bench.
Scotland have a much tougher heat against Belgium and the 4/1 on offer is no more than fair value. They could raise their game sufficiently to snatch a draw however, and 9/2 about draw/draw in the half-time/full-time category looks the best value in this encounter.
However if you fancy the Belgians then 15/8 for them to be leading at both half time and full time is significantly better than the 8/11 for an outright victory, and should be backed in preference to odds-on.
Wales travel to Macedonia and are capable of coming away with a 12/5 draw; while Northern Ireland face an uphill battle against Portugal. However the visitors are perennial underachievers and at 9/2, a draw could be rewarding.
Finally, having dealt with the home nations, a 'value' treble for you!** Bosnia to beat Slovakia @ 8/15; Ireland @ 2/1 to beat Sweden; and Norway @ 3/10 to beat Cyprus. The Republic of Ireland add the meat to the two odds-on bankers.
