Fans pay a £1 deposit upon the purchase of their first drink and then exchange the cup each time they visit the counter to purchase a new drink. At the end of the evening fans can return their cup to receive their £1 deposit back or take it home with them. The aim of the concept is not only to reduce waste but also to help keep concourses cleaner.
*
The product is already in use in stadia across Europe and will be familiar to rugby fans who will have come across the system in use at Twickenham Stadium.

The switch from disposable to reusable cups is just a trial at this stage, although with the American Express Community Stadium looking to achieve ISO20121 status for event sustainability in the near future the trial will be closely monitored by the club.[h=3]ALBION V NORWICH
