Finally, I don't like it when some (lots!) of England fans sing

"if it wasn't for the English you'd be Crowts(sp?)" I just feel a bit  being english. especially with D day etc.

On Sunday in the square the English supporters were singing...

To the tune of .... "If you're all going to Cardiff clap your hands!"

"There were 9 German bombers in the air, there were 9 german bombers in the air. There were 9 German bombers, 9 German bombers, 9 German Bombers in the air ....." then the second verse included the fans running in the road "flying" through the traffic....."annnnnnddddddd.......the RAF from england shot them down, the RAF from england shot them down......etc"

I must say it was funny.....sorry:blush:

Picture to follow...(was it on tv? Like this is old news?)

What is with many of our fans singing about the bloody war during international tournaments?? Must say it really pisses me off, what has the war got to do with fecking football?? A lot of our fans are very ignorant IMO. Its like when we boo oppositions national anthems. Why can we not respect other countries anthems like every other country? (ok bar holland/germany last night but they're huge rivals) Sometimes I really don't like being English. There really are so many w**kers in this country. Perhaps this is why i stick to club football, can't say i really ever get too excited about england.

Glosterseagul.
I was in the square when the song about the German bombers was going on and have to agree that I found it quite amusing. The atsmosphere was good and the song was taken quite light hearted. You also failed to mention the Carlsberg was alcohol free that was sold in the ground. The trouble that has gone on over the last few days is miles away from Lisbon and I have to praise the English fans after the way they behaved after the France defeat.Didn't see much trouble and quite a few handshakes. It was great fun out there and only wish I could have stayed longer.
