Brighton have gone bankrupt in the 6th season on my game so I left my nice cosy job at the top of Italian football to help them out. Still got a fair few decent players. elphick, cox, livermore, virgo and a few others.
Sold Virgo for 300k to help pay off debts and reduce the wage bill. Got in Jason Koumas, Matt Glennon and Marek Saganowski on free transfers and got some Brazilian on loan.

Turkey - I've had my game crash twice now, both just times just after I have scored and am watching the goal on the 3D screen bit. I'm taken back to the desktop and a message box comes up saying "Access array out of bounds" or words to that effect. FM is then not on my taskbar but is still running when I go to the task manager processes box. I'm running the game with the first patch that was released. Any ideas please??

Edit: Just happened again :censored: Going to turn the 3D bit off.

Download the second patch as that may help: Patch 9.2.0 Change List Availability Details - Sports Interactive Community

Also try playing the game in windowed mode to see if that helps.

If I could see your dxdiag that could be useful. (start > run > dxdiag)

My "strongest" team, as of today, ignoring injuries/suspensions is;

Daniel Fernandes (GK), Ari (LB), Canas (RB), Francisco (CB), Peter Larsson (CB), Miroslav Bednar (LM), Rasmus Hansen (RM), Steven Defour (CM), Mate Simao (CM), Yannis Tafer (ST), Paolo Perrotta (ST)

CONCLUSION:

FA Cup winners, League Cup semi-finalists and 5th place finish in the Premier League. Every single one of my signings has been superb for me, Tafer scored 23 in 38 appearances in all comps, and made 10 assists. Perrotta signed to partner him in the January transfer window scored 13 goals in 11 league appearances, and assisted four goals.

I have turned down bids of £17m+ for my goalkeeper Fernandes and similar for Steven Defour, club captain and captain of Belgium. He is also alongside Fabregas in the Premier Division Select for two seasons running.

Just got this game. I am officially rubbish at Football Manager. I am about 9 games into the season and currently my team which should be challenging for Play Offs is in 19th. :glare:

Signed an Arsenal 17 year old called Henri Landsbury who has been pretty decent, and fans were delighted when I signed an unknown called Nathan Sansara from somehwere or other. Why is Forster so crap on the game? Scored a few but for some reason starts in the reserves and also my assistant manager never advises me to pick him despite the fact he is club captain!

Thanks Turkey. Will try the patch and windowed mode.

What's the easiest way of sending you the dxdiag info? Have exported it to a text file, but it's too many characters to PM you.

Ta

Sorry, didn't see this before. Email the file to simon.tipple at sigames.com.

Playing Brighton just not good for my health so started a new game with Annan Athletic.

Won 3rd div at a canter, losing only two games and now in 2nd in Div2 with a quarter gone. Playign Scottish leagues is sooooo relaxing :)

Playing with the 9.0.3 update.

Started a game with Stafford Rangers, 500k in derbt 15 player in t'squad and a wage cap of £25 a week, It's not going to be easy, keeping a squad of 15 fit all season so I hope to get off to a flyer.

First 3 games : -

Vauxhall Motors 0-1 Stafford Rangers
Redditch 0-1 Stafford Rangers
Stafford Rangers 0-0 Fleetwood

Yet to concede yet. :)
