I think they do carry out psychological screening, everyone admitted has to have either one screw loose or at least know how to handle a screw-driver, it wouldn't make for good TV if they didn't. Lets face it Channel 4 tried the intellectuals sitting around chatting when they first went on air, remember that programme that was on every Friday night, BB certainly isn't that.
