But do they really know any more than they did this morning? For me, that statement was totally pointless. The only thing it 'reveals' is that we have "managerial issues," which Stevie Wonder could have told us. If the players know as little as you say, then my god is this club useless

What's wrong with it?

We knew they were meeting today, and they obviously have more to discuss so they can't say anything definitive yet.

If they'd said nothing today they would have been criticised for that.

So they can't win either way.
