But yadda yadda yadda, it's the parents fault for feeding her sugar/fatty things during chilldhood so now she's addicted. She shouldn't get a gastric band, she should stop eating and go to the gym.

What does amaze me is seeing so many kids having McDonalds for breakfast or eating/drinking shit on the way to school. I am sure it was, relatively, the same yesteryear, but the difference being that children generally did a LOT more exercise.

I was down the La Cala at lunchtime today down the harbour, enjoying a Kronie in the sun. There was an american guy at the next table talking about nuclear submarines and somesuch, apparently all on his doorstep over the pond. This guy was maHOOsive. I mean big - spectacularly big. I wanted to stay for a couple more just to see him get up and move (I swear the chair would have been lodged to his arse), but sadly I had to go home because I thought I may have left the grill on.
