The Strokes ain't hitting the spot - and are never likely too. NME's pathetic continued hyping of this piss-poor outfit stinks of serious money having changed hands. Bring back Melody Maker, Sounds, or any other publication that takes NME's monopoly away - cos the standard of their recent journalism sucks bigtime

What, in your opinion, are the worst songs of all time ?

To kick things off I'd like to nominate

1. Imagine - John Lennon

2. Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd

3. absolutely anything by Queen.

Imagine = best song of all time.
Another Brick In The Wall = In its day, class.
Queen...Bohemian Rapsody = second best song of all time.

Part from that your spot on.

Little Willy by The Sweet (dire lyrics, silly lame outfits, totally banal dreck)

Anything by the Bay City (Obesity) Rollers . (weak tunes that were anything but memorable [thankfully] and what a bunch of tossers in tartan! Their 'troosers' were halfway up their shins for fuxsake. utter cuntz who needed a good kicking)

Anything by Oasis (whinging dirges for Northern pensioners if you ask me. 'Sing-along with Oasis', and the band members are the epitome of the lable 'pikey' as well)
