Firstly- google couldn't help, and vodafone are busy.

Right, I've got a new mobile (whoopee for me) it can do mobile tv.
Now then, does anyone know if a) apart from the monthly subscription there are any other charges. and b) is it any good? (apart from there not being too much on tv anyway- but the availability of 6music for me would be useful)

Cheers in advance.

yes you do, but your home tv licence covers phones registered at that address- and I've got one of those! (and for the price BBC should do the service for nowt...)

Would you need a tv licence for it, if you are viewing live tv?

yes.

and why? for as long as i can remember you could by portable, pocket size TVs for camping, caravans etc. 4inch down to as small as 2 inch. and how many people used them beyond a few anorak caravaners? bugger all, becuase the picture is so shit. so hows a 1 inch mobile screen going to improve this?

was more interested in the radio side of the deal ( I could buy a portable DAB player, but why if my mobile can do it?) I like radio6.

ffs- did you get out the wrong side of the bed?
For whatever reason I have- I quite like the idea of being able to receive radio6 on my mobile if the price isn't too much.
