Someone mentioned in the Brew Dog freebie thread that they were in position 56,000 in the queue, "that's a small town". So with bugger all else to do, I went to see what town that would be - seems it's Kettering.

I was a bit surprised by some of the towns on the list, so thought I'd share a little quiz. I'll share the answers in a day or so.

Can you put these towns (and cities) in order by population size, with the largest first?

Bournemouth
Bristol
Manchester
West Bromwich
Norwich
Middlesbrough
Nottingham
Newcastle
Brighton and Hove
Leeds

It's just for fun, so try to resist looking up the answers. No spoilers please.
2011 Census data, so it will be updated this year in the 2021 Census.

Won't be for long, have you driven up the A264 lately, Crawsham is well on it's way.

It was a lovely County Town with loads of individual shops (e.g. had a superb used book shop) 25 years ago when I moved down to get hitched to Mrs Jakarta, now as Chavvy as they come and really don't have any desire to go there.

A good friend of ours is upping sticks from Southwater and heading to Norfolk/Suffolk borders, having lived down here for 50 years, he just can't take the ruin of the district. :down:
