Use a sink plunger to clear the the blockage further down, or take the trap off again and rod it.

or get Programme_Seller round to do it for a very reasonable handyman fee.

My kitchen sink was slow draining so removed and cleaned all the pipes but now the water won't clear the bottle trap

Anyone know what I should do next?

Silly question, but you do know the bottle trap is designed to retain a fair bit of water to stop smells coming back from the pipe?

u-bend.pngDoes it look like Daves right ear or left ear. If left ear it's upside down!

Shouldn't really use a bottle trap on a kitchen sink, try replacing with a conventional U bend system
