It was, and still is, a quality record. Lydon himself has more charisma in his left earlobe than Lavigne and Kelly Osbourne put together. He is one of the most inspirational frontmen ever, and the Bill Grundy Nationwide interview IS one of the best bits of live TV I've ever seen.
As usual, he is spot on in his observations re. the nu-punk explosion.
