I've just got an upgraded phone from O2. It has loads of gay polyphonic ringtones but there is no normal telephone ring tone.

Apparently I can download one, now is it just me or is it fecking ridiculous that even though the phone has more ring tones than you can shake a stick at, it doesn't have an old fashioned one?? If I do want one I have to pay for it, but worse than that I have to work out how to download it

YES!! I agree with you.

I recently got a new phone upgrade; there was nothing wrong with my old phone but as the upgrade was free I thought I'd get a new phone, even though if I wanted to take pictures I'd buy a camera, if I wanted to play games I'd buy an X box etc etc.

There is no normal ringtone so everytime someone rings me I have to look like a twat with something that sounds like a brass band playing in my pocket.

I remember the days when people bought phones to make a phone call on.

Can I mention how I detest people who text with their thumbs whilst talking to you when it takes me half an hour to type in 'Hello'

Get better results with a £5.99 disposable Kodak out of WH Smiths. And as for the batteries that power the bastard for all of about three flashes worth and a couple of zooms, unbel-eee-vable, may as well go out with a fully charged car battery strapped to me back. Grrrr...

You know, funny you should mention that, I lost my not very much liked T68I and have replaced it with a Nokia 6610 (from eBay) and I would like a senisible tone too.

Any idea where I can get some Albion wallpaper and GOSBTS ?

I agree fully. My old phone made a nice, jolly "ring-ring" sound on the rare occasions anyone wanted to talk to me, and a good solid "beep-beep, beep-beep" noise for a message. Now my tones sound like a hamster having a fit ... not right!
