just been watching the first series- it is quality - anyone agree?

well it depends on wether you watch the old or new ones, the old and middleish ones are good, but the new ones are just rubbish.
Futurama is brilliant

I heard it was scheduled to finish, but Matt Groening made a fuss about it and as it's run by Fox, same as the Simpsons, Matt made threatening overtones as to the future of Homer and co. so it was allowed to live.

Something like that, anyway.

I have all the DVD's of The Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy.
They're all super cool in their own right.

I know we argue about the merits of Coldplay etc and we all make some tongue-in-cheek comments (well I do anyway) but I can seriously state that if you don't like at least one from the Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy or King of The Hill then you are a boring retarded cretin with no understanding of life or the human condition.

DON'T tell me Americans can't make good comedy.

Although futurama is good there is no getting away from the fact it is the simpsons set in the future!
King of the hill is also good but suffers from the same "is that funny" syndrome that Beavis and Butt-head did!
The Simpsons is the original and is what all comedy cartoons are founded on but is going a bit off recently!
Family Guy,the best of a great bunch original,quirky and hysterically funny it has to be my no.1!
