The one that Charlotte Church won? I think Carol Vorderman was in it as well. It was published somewhere fairly recently- it's about the ladies blokes have a thing for but are secretly embarrassed to admit.

Need to settle an argument!

Edna...what was the argument? The mind boggles.
Not so much an argument I guess, more a debate about fancying less popular celebrities.

Started by someone claiming her other half has a thing for sturdy, horse faced BBC racing presenter Clare Balding  :lolol:

I think that CB is all right, wouldn't have called her horse-faced though (and yes, I have heard that she bats for the other side).

Is Ms Balding not a lady in comfortable shoes?

Perhaps "horse faced" is a bit unfair, but I bet she does have a distinct whiff of hay and peppermints about her :lolol:

Unless that's just from Willie Carson hiding in her pocket.

I like Claire Balding, but not in that way. She's hardly a looker is she?

Claire Balding was going out (and may well still be) with the woman that reads that shipping forecast on radio 4.

She gets around a bit then... Alice Arnold, actor and reader of the BBC Radio 4 Shipping Forecast - she was definitely 'partners' with Sandi Toksvig fairly recently.
