O/T can you recommend a good, easy read, book?

All of Bill Brysons books are very funny travelogue if you enjoy that type of thing.

Otherwise my favourite it Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh

"You're an Animal, Viskovitz" by Alessandro Boffa is without doubt one of the craziest books I've read in a long time and it's very easy going.

It's a collection of short stories all written in the first person about various different animals, all with the name Viskovitz.

It's both funny and profound in a very simple way and I'd love to talk more about it but I think you should just read it!

Nope, Biscuit was right, Catch 22 was set in World War II. Are you thinking of M*A*S*H? that was set in the Korean war.
