most of the mugs on here have never been in a row, APART FROM A INTERNET ONEAsare now my adopted #2 team, I need an answer to one thing.
I'm not familiar with the rivalry thing with Palace, and before I start attacking people with red/blue striped tops on, I'd like a bit of background.
I can understand the Swansea v Cardiff, liverpool V Man U, etc but why do you have a hatred with that lot? Arn't Portsmouth your nearest?
It's something thats been bugging me for a while and I havent had a serious answer from any Albion fan I've spoken to yet.
Thanks in advance![]()
SAYS DOUG ,WHO'S NEVER BEEN TO SELHURST PARKAnd despite Palace being in a higher division for most of the last hundred years, Brighton still have a better record in games between the clubs.

work, domestic, socialHow many have you been in ?
I do. Had the entire side except a bit left for segregation. In the 1970s we also had the entire White horse stand a few times. Ask your old timers on that one tho'.

Just for the record (Cut and Pasted from the BHA official site):
Coppell had this message for the 4000 Albion fans who made the journey up the M23: "I can't offer Albion fans any positives after this match because they would be false. I can only apologise for the performance and assure them that nobody is hurting more than me."
If you can be bothered here's the whole piece:

but he's from swansea, and he's only down here cos he's building falmerI don't get this 2nd team stuff - if we're not good enough for your 1st.....? Let me tell you something. I used to like Norwich for family reasons. Then, having not played them for nearly 20 years we finally met on the field of battle. I soon discovered after the first tackle went in on an Albion player that there's no such thing as having a 2nd team. Absolutely pointless pretending otherwise. So, feign an interest perhaps, but don't mug yourself off with this 2nd team business. Brighton should be your 1st team and if you've not been fortunate enough have blue and white in yer blood, then that's life buddy. Stick with your own kind I say, anything else is a little patronising.
what do you reckon??Football
