I agree. The most baffling thing of all is the way some people, a lot of people seem to thrive on having their freedoms and human rights taken away. The fact some people think it is just fine to be forced from your homes and stuck in a camp for 2 weeks agains't your will is very worrying

The uk death toll for the last 3 days is 11, 11, normally 5250 people would die on average in the uk over a 3 day period. CASES CASES CASES, what is the actual issue if very few people are getting seriously ill not hospitalised let alone on ventilators or dying ? Still 5 - 6 months on we are forced to wear masks after 4 months of being told they are a waste of time, cannot go to theatre, cinema, concert venues, sporting events and many more, destroying all those industries daily for a virus with a fatality rate of 0.24%. Hundreds of thousands of businesses have been wiped out and the pigeons will come home to roost by the end of the year when the real carnage will start to become apparent and people not being paid a 6 month holiday anymore may start to question the actions that were taken and the events that will subsequently unfold over the next decade

The world has gone insane, totally insane

Totally agree with you!

You are ok with people being forced from their homes into camps ? For a virus with a 0.24% death rate
It's not a concentration camp! It's two weeks of your life, to protect those that are vunerable, to help control local outbreaks and to let the rest of the community get back to 'normal'.

Your 0.24% death rate is a bit too simplistic of a measure, especially if you're someone living in a care home or tower block.

But these people are happy to do it in there own house, which they did last time (happy to be corrected)

The city is in lockdown anyway, so why remove them - unless she’s saying she doesn’t trust them or she fears the people are not happy with the lockdown again.

New Zealand have gone way OTT again.

Nobody should be forced away from their homes and families against their will in that way. There is nothing wrong with isolating at home. This whole thing stinks!

I couldn't agree more. The next few months will be very interesting. I can't see how much longer people are going to play dumb to this?

The big trick is to stop reading newspapers Left, Liberal or Right. They're all trying to sell you stories rather than facts. Instead, listen to experts. Bill Gates isn't an expert. I don't think he's even got a university degree in anything? yet he's been banging on about population reduction to save the world, pushing more vaccinations on humans and even putting microchips in our brains, and everyone's listening to him as if he's some expert in this because all the newspapers and news channels don't shut up about him.
Put down the newspapers, stop watching news channels and research this stuff yourself. The Internet has enough information for you not to need these forms of untrustworthy media anymore. Question everything, think for yourself, but most importantly, don't be in fear. Good always trumps bad in the end.

Jordan Peterson's view that had we all been nazi's we probably would have been enjoying the killing the nazi's were commiting just like they were, I believe to be true. They were tricked, tricked into believing stuff the media told them: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gleiwitz_incident

Freedom of speech is going, information is disappearing off the net and now we're setting up camps. Hhhmmmmm?

When's the fixture list out?

What I’m finding the most disturbing is how many people just seem totally brainwashed into accepting whatever narrative dictated by the clearly incompetent powers that be.

The facts speak for themselves that the virus is really low risk now yet still people want to hand over yet more liberty. Unbelievable what the WHO, government, and media have achieved.

A report today shows that there are currently SIX times more people currently dying of Flu than Covid. Why aren’t we moving toward normality rather than further away in that scenario? Unfortunately society is so soft now that any fear (manipulated) means people want to just hide and let the powers control them.

I am hearing rumours of mandatory vaccines for New Zealanders.

Where? The rumours that is, not the injection site?

NZ Prime Minister has recently gone on record to say there would be no mandatory vaccinations, with 74% of New Zealander’s saying they would voluntarily get vaccinated, compared to only 53% in the U.K.

Record economic contraction in NZ as a result of major lockdown. Every single case going to send them back to square 1 with their policy.

Sweden, the example always given by people with a critical attitude to restrictions, economy still went down 8.6% in Q2.

Sittingbourne, Kent
New Zealand
Population = 4,822,233
Covid deaths = 25 = 0.0005 of population
Initial GDP reduction = 12.2%

Sweden
Population = 10,099,265
Covid deaths = 5864 = 0.058 of population
Initial GDP reduction = 8.6%

United Kingdom
Population = 67,886,011 = 0.61 of population
Covid deaths = 41,705
Initial GDP reduction = 20%

Hhmm, wonder who is coping best as a whole during this Pandemic.

If it's economics against human life, it could be argued Sweden.
If it's human life against economics, then without doubt New Zealand.
If it's all round **** up then the UK is hands down winner of these 3.
