Firstly - apologies for the issues with NSC - firstly going down and then (ie now) running incredibly slowly.
Hopefully all of this will be very shortly behind us.
Sitting elsewhere on the web at the moment is a fully funcitoning copy of NSC as of last night. It seems to be running without problem and nice and quickly too. It is being hosted in a place where we will have 100GB of bandwidth a month to play with - far in excess of the 40GB we currently have. This should mean no more 'fines' for blowing our bandwidth allowance and the end (for me at least) of the worries about how NSC will be funded.
Anyway - assuming continued testing on the new NSC goes well, I will be shutting down this version of NSC some time later today (Friday). The test copy will be cleaned out, and this shut off NSC will be copied over to become the new NSC - everything will be in tact - all posts and threads and no-one will have to re-register.
Stick with it - things will be OK soon!
Darren
