Obviously it's a marathon not a snickers, but now that the season is shaping up I thought I'd have a look at the scores in my predictions league.
If you remember, you were asked to predict winners, runners up, playoff winners and relegated clubs across the top 5 divisions in England. For the purposes of calculating the current leaders, I have assumed that the top club in the playoff positions will win their divisional play-offs.
Anyway, scores on the doors:
The four shittest predictors so far have a measely 16 points - and they are:
Mr V, Don Tmatter, chemical brother and Bez
So I thought I'd take a look at their comedy predicitions: Mr V has Newcastle as runners up, Sheff Wed as champions with Luton, Oldham, Yeovil, and Swansea to be relegated from their divisions.
Don Tmatter foolishly hasn't given any relegation candidates for ther Premiership which is hindering his score, but none the less he still has Margate as Conference champions, Newcastle as runners up, Reading to be relegated as well as Barnsley AND Bournemouth!
Now up to the top of the league, we have just 4 players with 40 points or more:
80's seagull is 4th with 40pts
Beefy is handily places in 3rd with 41pts
gullmachine88 is just a point ahead on 42 in 2nd
But it has to be said, at this point in time, Desert Orchid leads the pack by more than a nose. He has a massive 50 points - Man U and Chelsea at the top, Wolves and Leeds at the bottom, and similar consistency throughout the divisions.
Sadly Gareth Glover didn't enter.
