I'm in for a bit. I used to play a Pacific poker but I got a bit bored and haven't played for a while (and all my money has gone).
I guess we need to agree stakes and then find a suitable site.
Personally, I enjoy the game more than the money and usedd to play the 1c/2c games. If we're talking about 6/8/10 player ring games, then I guess a buy in/rebuy of about 50p per game would suit me; that way I could play 5/6 games in an evening for the price of a pint.
(I wouldn't mind a live game in a pub somewhere too, if there's a few others in Eastbourne who fancy it)

If Poker Stars allows private games then that would be ideal. In the old days we used to play on Pacific, I think, and just all try to get on the same table - it could take a while for others to leave.

It was always very small stakes but, as someone above said, it's the game more than the money for me too.

If we are joining somewhere new, I'd investigate affiliate schemes as NSC might be able to make a few pounds if a few of us are signing up to a new site.

Leave it with me to investigate Poker Stars for now...

Might be interested.

Didn't most people sign up to Party Poker a couple of years ago? I still do the odd freeroll on there. I play for money on Betfair mostly (but only small stakes).

"pasty99" (me) can still be found occasionally on Pacific. Like Easy I tend to play low stakes stuff or sit and go tourney's

Right - I've joined Poker Stars and applied for their affiliate scheme.

Can I ask everyone not already a member at Poker Stars to NOT join for now please. Hopefully NSC will be approved into the affiliate scheme and I'll then be able to provide a link that you can join via that should help NSC earn a few pennies.

I suggest we aim for a first game on Friday 29th if all agree - should allow enough time for the affiliate approval and people to join and get ready.

Well on the way to sorting things out with Full Tilt Poker, hence the not-so-subtle banner up there.

Can people please join Full Tilt by clicking on the banner above in order that NSC gets the tracking for you joining.

When joining please enter this referral code: NSCPoker where prompted.

I'll set up a private tournament for $5 each for 9pm Thursday night as a trial run.
