NSC League - Season 4 FINAL TABLE

Season 4 saw the introduction of the play-offs for divisions 1 - 3, and European places for the top 7 Premiership finishers. The NSC League has also received corporate sponsorship, signed in a five season deal with Nike and Sony. The league boasted a record 79 league members this season, although 6 were in administration for not entering predictions.

Final Tables - Round Up:

The Premiership
Congratulations to Trigger who wins the Premiership on goal difference from Jim D. Early leaders 80's Seagull finishes in third place, but gains a Champions League place, as does Legend. There was an astonishing turnaround by ManxSeagull, who was rooted to the bottom, 9 points adrift after 16 games, but has ended up a respectable 13th. Relegation comes in the form of Faldo, tinx and kinkygerbil who finished with an identical record to Fluffster and braders7 but who had the worst attendance prediction.

1st Division
Storming to the championship was Mike C Gull who finished a commanding 9 points ahead of nearest rivals Sandgate Seagull. The play-offs were comfortably won by Vinyl Richie by having the closest attendance prediction. The number of clubs relegated from Division One had to be increased this season due to five clubs being in administration for not entering predictions. Two of these, GNF on Tour and Lord Bracknell came straight down from top flight the previous season, but now find themselves playing Division Two football.

2nd Division
With 2 extra automatic promotion spots up for grabs this season, Mr C, Rowdey and Turkey took full advantage and have been promoted. But even they couldn't stop brighton_b0y running away with the Championship, congratulations to him. And despite finishing 7th, Rabeen won the play-offs with a prediction which was only out by a mere 57. Bad news for TC and filthy as they are resigned to the fact that basement league football awaits them next season as they are relegated alongside Juan Albion (administration).

3rd Division
League new boy Barnet Seagull has leapfrogged the whole division and become Champion in his first season. With competition for the top places fierce, timseagull finished ahead of the field on goal difference and is promoted. The play-offs was won comprehensively by perth seagull. Adrift at the bottom were teaboy and Titanic who can take heart from the fact that there is no lower league to be relegated to. Well not at the moment anyway...

Hell yeah... let the promotion party begin!

Up to Division 2, that's part of my five year plan. If only I could get a stadium sorted, it seems to be holding me back...
