Welcome to NSC's NEWEST and most EXCITING game.
Compete against your fellow posters to rise up the leagues and become the champion.
The game has been running for a while now, but if you haven't played before, now's a good time to start.
Each Season
Each 'season' lasts just over two week (16 days), Saturday through to the 2nd Sunday.
During the 'close season' period every fortnight, you will need to choose one team from each of the 40 fixtures shown.
That's it, that's all you have to do. Now sit back and watch how you do.
How the League Works
Currently there are four leagues: Premiership and Divisions 1, 2 and 3.
As the 40 results comes in, whatever result that team gets, you get (i.e. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a defeat; as well as goals for and against)
Using these results you will rise up or drop down the table.
Premiership:
Places 1-4 - Champions League
Places 5-7 - UEFA Cup
Places 18-20 - Relegated
Divisions 1/2/3:
Places 1-2 - Promotion
Places 3-6 - Play-offs
Places 18-20 - Relegated
Champions League and UEFA Cup - This is a bonus game, played the following season by the top 7 finishers in the Premiership.
Play-offs - Out of the four play-off teams, the one who has the nearest tiebreak guess will be promoted.
NEW PLAYER?
New players can start playing at any time. Just enter your predictions in this thread and you will be added
to the lowest division.
HOW TO ENTER
Just enter your teams on the season's thread by simply putting H (Home) or A (Away) next to numbers 1 to 40.
e.g.
Remember, don't predict a draw. You are picking one of the two teams, not predicting the result.
TIEBREAK / PLAY-OFFS DECIDER
As well as your 40 teams, you need to enter your guess for the attendance of the tiebreak match.
In the case of two or more teams having identical records at the end of the season, the tiebreak will come into effect.
The nearest guesser will be placed in the higher position.
This prediction is also the decider for the teams finishing in the play-offs.
