Thanks for posting that - I enjoyed reading it. You have a nice conversational style. Would like to read more when you get around to it.

Not long in coming....

I've just finished a lunch time read for anyone with their coffee and biscuits.

'An Unmarketable Child- My Journey To Adoption 1969-1973'

I spent time researching archived documents, diaries, and weaving first hand accounts together over a period of years. Very hard to put into a ten minute read. But then, that's the advantage of being out of work and in lockdown, I guess.

I recently started a motorcycle rebuild, and decided to track my progress in a blog.
It is/will be a long drawn out process I suspect:)
if anyone is interested, it can be found at https://www.alphabeta.me.uk/blog/

I have no interest in motor cycles, but I've still saved it to my blog. I might begin to like them and it still beats reading the news at present.

I've completed my latest in the 70s memoirs:

1978- Mischief, music and mortality.

I started with a tumblr blog many years ago and then signed up with GoDaddy. My blog is all about ancient history (Greece and Rome). It's a mix of things on there. Have had some nice feedback from students and others (try to find more unusual topics). It's pretty basic but I enjoy it, sort of my garden shed!

Awesome and added. I love Roman history.

Looking forward to the stuff on Domitian, who I understand was even nastier than Nero.

Domitian? My podcast is linked to the blog and recently I interviewed LJ Trafford and she had a pretty robust defence of him (it's towards the end of the episode). My podcast is called Ancient History Hound but the episode is linked in on my blog - but just in case. There are some vlogs I also did on Roman armour and weapons from several years back.
