The Van Helden remix of Spin Spin sugar was shit hot but it was basically a bootleg. Jaydee was WELL ahead of its time, just using a really simple beat (again nicked by Van Helden for 'U dont know me' years later) and leaving you just waiting and waiting for that killer drop.

at the risk of sparking a pidgeon holeing debate, id like to point out Sneaker Pimps is actually *speed* garage... in fact id call it speed disco as Van Helden style was more discoy than garage style (despite this he's often credited with creating the Speed Garage sound). The original spin spin suger was shite.
