You'll be pleased to know that our numbnut who spent the first 10 minutes ignoring the match and taunting BHS fans was ejected and photographed, and several of his 'mates' decided to leave with him. Bit of a prat IMHO but sadly he didn't get the kicking he possibly deserved.
I would say thanks for the points, we need them a lot more than you just now, but in truth I wanted a draw - if only because I like BHA.
As for NSC Albion this is taken from Mozzer on our mailing list and is his view of the game.
'Very good performance by the Mad Hatters yesterday. Not the most pretty going forward at times but very effective on all parts of the pitch. I love playing in those 'backs-to-the-wall' sort of situations which we got into in the second half. Brighton can count themselves a little bit unlucky not to have got something out of the game, given the chances they created, but we worked bloody hard to keep that second successive clean sheet. As I say, we were good everywhere yesterday, but I think if we're giving out an MoM award it has to go to Ben, for his tireless running in the middle of the park, his two goal-line clearances and his general quality of play. Even their left-winger who I was marking at the time wanted Ben to score after he beat about six men, chipped the keeper, hit the bar and then saw his diving header from the rebound go just over!
The Brighton team were a really good bunch of lads (even moreso when you consider the propensity for southern teams to be full of moaning b@st@rds
) who played the game in right spirit. They've said they'll be up for it when they come back here later in the season, so that's one to look forward to. I've passed on our best wishes to their left-winger, who we saw in the pub afterwards with his arm in a sling. Apparently he broke his wrist when he fell late on. He seemed happy enough, considering, but it must be really galling to have done something like that just falling over the ball when he managed to survive playing 85minutes against the Johnson Brothers at right-back ;-)'
Sadly we've played watford and luton far to often and they tend to colour our view of sarferners. Hope his wrist heals quickly and I look forward to the return legg.
All the best people.
