Good to put a few more faces to names last night.

I think NSC does have a real sense of community sometimes.

I feel warm and gooey inside and it's not just the 'Creamichoc' beverage I have just had dispensed from the vending machine.

It is nice when you can 'recognise' people from their names on their shirts.

Met Hiney last night for the first time. People also come up and say hello.

The regular awayers now certainly have a sense of community and thanks to some of the lads who walked round from the car park with me.
That's the first time I have ever been to an away match on my own and I felt pretty comfortable with it, knowing I would see people there I knew.

Albiongirl had saved a seat for me but I didn't find her until halftime.

it is a good community, especially the football & cricket side of things. The meet-ups help aswell as you make new friends online then see them and make friends offline, all good stuff!

I agree, nice to meet a few people last night.
Saw yorkie from a distance in the stand, good idea having names on the back. I will get mine done soon.
Good to put names to faces.
Managed to see turkey from a distance - man that boys tall!
Sorry to hear about the break in though.

I havent met any people from here but often se a bha falg at England games and wonder if they are 'nsc'. Dwayne often 'offers' but never shows. I guess most people on here would only want to meet me to shake me by the throat anyhow......

The names-on-back-of-shirts does it, as otherwise, no-one has a clue what anyone looks like, so meetups would be the only way to get "community" going otherwise.

I've met about 25 of you on here, but only 1 on the Reading board. Says it all.

I'd get my name on the back of my shirt - although since my attendance at games recently has been extrememly poor - and I don't know many NSC'rs then it would seem a little odd to your average Brighton fan to see a "tedebear" walking down the street!!

:lolol:
