Nottingham Forest doomed?

with them losing their two best players are they now doomed to League 1? or are they going to buy loads of new players to get them out of trouble? mind you is there the quality of player they need around and would they want to go to forest?

i get the feelings that they could actually pay for loads of loan players.

i am just not sure whether it is a good or bad thing for us?

Well I though they looked poor against us and we just lacked a big man to upset them up front.

Surely this is good news for us as it shows what dire straits they are in.

OK, they've now got the money to make a shedload of signings. But finding the right players and settling them into the team is not all that straightforward. Megson is a good manager to have at the helm, but I think this could come too late in the day to save them this season - I think they'll simply run out of games before any new signings they bring in have a chance to make the immediate impact they'll need.

Get your money on now though - they'll be next seasons League One champions.

Barring any one of the following four scenarios

Their ongoing transfers fall through.

A complete collapse by us  (I don't even want to think of that)

An ongoing collapse by Plymouth, possible but unlikely.

Micky Adams screwing up at Coventry, even more unlikely.

I'd say Nottingham Forest are f***ed

How many people were saying that about us last month?

I reckon they'll be ok - they've got a canny manager with plenty of cash to spend. The Forest revival starts here, I reckon.

Dawson's been injured for much of the season and Reid hasn't been playing that well so I think this was very good business for Forest. However, their debts are piling up almost as high as Leeds's so Megson might not get much of the money.

I think it is a very positive thing for them. We have seen ourselves that you dont have to break the bank to get players well capable at this level and they arent going to have any problems with funding wages.

Also, Megson is a quality manager. I also think that we might be a bit too far in front of them to get worried thopugh, although that will be much clearer after the next 4 matches for us which are tricky to say the least.

If Forest win their next three games, they could attain 47 pts before the last game. They would have to get a striker, and who is going to sign for them?

Gillingham have got harder matches. They might only have 45 pts.

Coventry might be on 48 pts?

If we slip up we could only get 48 pts. We need home wins against the likes of Derby, West Ham, Leicester, Sunderland etc. Or make sure we get something at Coventry etc.

All before the last game.

I would sooner (like the Albion) have the points on board, as the matches are running out.

Injuries coud put us in trouble though.

Leeds look safe enough now.

Neil harris has'nt set the city ground alight has he?

But £8million for those 2 is good business. King looked good for them and the keeper was class, if they get 2 or 3 decent signings there in with a chance. We can only blow it for ourselves, lets hope we keep the belief and the manager
