I won't sleep tonight with still-damp tear ducts, but nor shall the more forward thinking snippets of my frontal lobe be persuading the cranial dream centre we're yet to identify the specific whereabouts of fantasise magnificently of all that's to come. We seem a tad unbold and in acceptance of where we are, but really, deep down, it's to do with giving ourselves up truly to a man we're yet to love, and perhaps with the budget is not permitted to make this all as yet truly his. No disaster beckons, but enthusiasm is in a very slight lull until the new wallpaper fully sets and is self-graffitied over.
Funny thing the transfer window, making people think it's desirable to splash loads of cash a month into the season when players are at their most over-priced. Got our most significant business done early-ish and will top up in the loan window to cover injuries.
