Lots of people after the game that were angry with White. Is he really the person you need to be angry with? He has inherited a poor team. He never said he was a manager and he has no past experience as a manager. By the 70th (ish) minute he had 7 defenders (livermore, virgo, hawkins, elphick, hinsh, mcnulty, mayo) and 3 strikers (murray, forster, andrews) out injured. Would anyone else do any better??

I guess people have to vent.

Although White and Booker are not totally blameless. They are the guys that have taken training sessions and don't seem to have made any progress with the current squad of players.

You are right about the injuries, even man u would struggle to look so good with around a dozen first team squad injuries. But, he did cock up with the Hinsh substitution, as soon as he jogged onto the pitch you could see he wasn't right, pretty much everone around me in C block said the same thing so why the f*** couldn't the so called professional coaching staff? I was bloody angry to see such a basic error.

Other than that rather major issue, all the time we had 11 on the pitch, we were in with a chance, and could have got back into the game early in the second half but with 10, at 1-0 down, he still had to try and get something out of the game. That said, Crewe took us apart when we were down to 10, something we have been unable to do when the boot was on the other foot!

OK so what sort of football do these two coach then:

1. Always take a corner badly and don't even make the 6 yard box ?
2. Pass the ball to a player with the most opposition players around him ?
3. When coming out of defence just hoof it ?
4. Always try and pass backwards ?

To name but four, they have no idea

1. White's fault?? No, that would be cox's fault or Mickey's.
2. Again the players fault. They don't have the mental ability to make the right pass at the right time. You think White asks them to do that??
3. Could be White's fault but if your number 2 is right then this is the better option.
4. Could be players could be white. We will never know.

Any manager would have struggled with todays run of luck (Kuipers out, Forster injured in warm up, Elphick getting injured & having to put an unfit Hinsh on,dodgy pen.against us & McNulty getting injured), but any sympathy i had, disappeared in the 2nd half, when he decides to put Carole on after 2/3 mins?, then cant decide where to play the midfielders, who must have thought they were playing musical chairs as they virtually all played in all 4 midfield positions within the last 40 mins. The only people not confused by this were Crewe, who happily banged in 3 more goals.

This really isn't White and Bookers fault let's remember these guys are employed as labours and we have no brickie to help them and a retired architect what chance have they?

C'mon guys - give White a break. We all know he's not the future of the Albion but I think he's trying his best with a depleted team who are very low on confidence.
To save our season we need a manager soon with charisma, & plenty of it, to give the players some much needed belief in themselves & some fire in their bellies - Aidy Boothroyd come on down!!! (wish it was Jim Gannon - think he would have done well here).
Can we also stop the pre-match huddle - it doesn't seem to inspire anyone (oter than the opposition!)

If Cox tries to take another corner I'm going to run on the pitch and take the ruddy thing myself:angry:

SOMEONE must be telling him to do that....and that person would be the manager. So yes he has to get some stick, but not at the level he's currently getting.
