Not a loan but permanantly...I think.

My reading of it is that he originally signed a 2 day loan in order to be eligible for tomorrow but has now signed an 18 month contract this evening rather than on Monday.

The two clubs agreed a fee last Friday and the deal was concluded today, with Albion initially signing Holroyd on loan, to make him eligible for selection tomorrow.

The Nantwich-born forward, who has scored 16 goals this season for Cambridge in the Blue Square Premier, will then sign his 18-month permanent deal with Albion on Monday of next week.

The 5th para says the dealwas concluded which means finalised but the 6th says he will sign on Monday.

The only concern is that if he hasnt signed permenantly could Norwich or somebody else grab him on Sunday.

then it goes on to say

this means he is defo signing but to play him tomorrow it has to be a loan so he is defo ours no one else can sign him

I thought we had already established that he was coming on loan for a few days, then permanently after that.

Let's hope that after all this he's worth it
I am a bit concerned though that Gus was quoted in the Argus only this afternoon as saying that he hadn't heard from Holroyd since last week. Did he have no better offers or was Gus simply trying to put other clubs off the scent ?
