Getting a chairman with cash is a poisoned chalice. It's not just the high profile Premiership managers like Raneiri that are given moneyu and immediate pressure.

I thought Northampton got a new chairman at the start of the season, hence them suddenly having money to spend. In any case with the large outlay on players Northampton should be doing better than they are, but it is really to early for the manager to be sacked as a result.
