I went to the Newport game on the 25 which are every 5 minutes from Lewes Rd side of St Peters Church but was advised by the driver to get off at the Uni and walk under the road as apparently it takes ages to get up to The Amex.
Wright.

Wrong it takes ages from the bus stop to walk up to the ground whilst you can get off the bus at the stop by the car park, depends whether you want a long walk or not as timewise it is the same having done both
Rong.

The Gloucester was a dark and depressing shithole.

The last time I tried to get in there, the bouncer asked me if I was gay. I told him not to be so personal.

After all, I am sure there are rules about those sorts of questions. Definitely some guidance needed on scars, sexuality, tattoos and so on.

I'm acutely aware of noise issues and the pub does have a horrible hubbub. They could do with sorting that out.

I have found it far too noisy plus the much vaunted beer selection was painfully light in range and octane.

There is a special footie No25. It goes straight to the the Park and Ride stop and misses the Uni. Well it did last season.

Yeah , its easier to get off at the bus stop there , walk across the car park and go through the underpass before emerging to see one of the seven wonders of the world in front of you and this puts a big grin on your face and a feeling of contentment.

Everywhere
Not from St Peter's, it doesn't come down to Lewes Road till Elm Grove

Doesn't go nearly as close to the ground though, at least I don't think it does.

You're right it doesn't but it's not too far from the bridge car park. About a leisurely 10 minute stroll.
