It should be noted that Messrs Bellotti and Baker are very old friends and coleagues from their days as the Lib Dem opposition "bad boys" in Lewes District Council and ESCC days.

Ironic that one of them is the person who helped put Brighton & Hove Albion in this position while the other is one of the high-profile opponents of Falmer.

I trust Brighton fans in the Lewes constituency have reminded Mr Baker about the political difficulties Bellotti faced in his Eastbourne council election campaign following the Goldstone debacle.

If we don't get Falmer, Baker will have the same place in my heart as Bellotti. I trust the voters of Lewes will feel the same way.

Baker is a dangerous little f*cker who is very bad news for Sussex.

It was him that lobbied and suceeded in getting every single road improvement scheme in Sussex turned down (on 'environmental' grounds) when they were approved everywhere else in the country.

Smug c*nt. Deserves a slap .

I usually vote Lib Dem. However, in oreder to get Baker out I shall be voting Tory. This is not a decision I take lightly. I really CAN'T STAND the torys but what Baker is doing is unforgivable!

OUT OUT OUT!

Bye Bye Baker!

My whole family feel the same way. That's a swing of 10 votes alone!

I will also be writing to the Lib Dems to explain my decision. East Sussex is far from a safe seat my friend! Get out an don't let the door hit you on the way out!

I will not be voting for Baker next time round, and will ask the mrs not to either.

Actually it is good to have an MP (or anybody in a position of power) that does take environmental concerns seriously when considering planning decisions. I have chosen to believe the club and their environmental consultants when they say there are no environmental grounds for refusing Falmer - I hope they were right.

Baker needs his lights punched out

Volunteers to punch Baker's lights out form an orderly queue...

I bet the :tosser: is one of the first with his hand out for free tickets on opening day.:salute: He should be the first person issued with a lifetime ban for any event held at Falmer.

Vindictive? Me?

I went to the Brighton V Lewes match last August and Baker was there and looked like a tramp. He was totally unkempt with an old creased t shirt on that looked like he had picked it off the bedroom floor that morning.

I was worried that I might be introduced and have to shake his hand but I made it clear to my boss I would not shake his hand.

Email Norman Baker

Unless he changes his stance I'm afraid the Lib Dems will lose a seat.

Been there, done that (emailed Baker).

The twat will not change his stance and he will not get any grief from that well know group of fence sitters and bandwagon jumpers, collective noun: Liberal Democrats. These wankers refuse to acknowledge that Smeglotti did anything wrong whilst he systematically dismantled our club for Archole and PissHead.

I'd vote for a turnip if it runs against a LibDem candidate.

In London village.
Much as I disagree with Baker over Falmer the alternative to him in Lewes would be another indentikit tory slimebag. IMHO lobbying him and pointing out that many Seagulls are also his constituents will have more impact.

If we get the go ahead for Falmer (and I still think we will) then Lewes district will be forced to discuss (at least) transport arrangements with the club and we should be writing/emailing Baker plus the Sussex Express/Lewes News/etc to make our viwes clear.

Only two things gets a poloticians attention!

1) A brown envelope
2) The fear of losing their seat!

Good bye Baker!
