Here's a point:-

We wouldn't be getting him back for nothing.

Is everyone happy to spend £1m on Nooney?

Why would he be on our bench? We took a noticeable nosedive after he left last year. I personally rated Noone as the 2nd or 3rd best player in the team before he left. Always gave effort and apart from the odd cross going AWOL he is quality and just what we need right now.

We took a nosedive? LMFAO. I remember us finishing 4th... much high than the year we had Noone in the Championship. Or did I dream that?

No no no no not SD this is an announcement after we knew about SD !!!:ffsparr:
Another player at least I'm talking about another player

What announcement? Bozza mentioned an old favourite coming back a few days ago, which is what the OP was referring to.

Exactly. Bozza mentioned an "old favourite", which was Spanish Dave. He also suggested a couple of other signings were being looked at, neither of which are ex-Albion.

Let's put this Noone rubbish to bed: he had about one and a half decent games for us in the short time he remained here last season and is exactly the same for Cardiff as he was for us, ie tricksy one day (but with no final ball) and terrible/anonymous the next. He divides their fans like he did ours. When we played there back in spring, all the City fans I spoke to said he gave it away too much and couldn't cross to save his life.

If he was free I don't suppose I'd object, but paying money for him? No thanks.

In all honesty, we did well selling him when we did. Perfect time because of the hype, and I can't see him developing into Premiership quality.
