I got the DLR this morning from Canning Town to East India Dock, and at Canning Town there was a wonderful sight of loads of "suits" , loads of " the great unwashed" and loads of " aging William" all standing together, chatting and waiting for the DLR to Excell Building.

One guy said to me " in 20 minutes they will all be smacking hell out of each other, yet here they are all pally pally"

The amount of police vans around Docklands area is very impressive. We keep hearing the sirens going off!

I thought the picture in the papers this morning was tremendous where the woman was holding up a plackard, standing outside the Arms Fair saying.......look Tony I have found the Weapons of mass destruction here.....

Ahhh its on at the Excell centre - I was wondering where they all were hiding....

True there is quite an amount of constabulary around Canary Wharf at the moment - although the usual police horses are absent...

Odd though the need to have a weapons fair?? IMHO...

I know, it seems a bit bizarre.

Did you see the cavalcade of black merc's with a police outrider come hammering past the Limehouse by CW this morning. I would be interested to know who that was.

nah - didn't Dave - I have my back to the window even though if I cared to turn around I can see the limehouse link exit.... wonder who that was then who is important enough to get police escort and wants to attent a weapons fair?? wouldn't have thought that policitcally correct??
