He’s an interesting one for me. Has had some decent games in the absence of Alisson but has been poor for Ireland lately and I can’t help but wonder if he’s one of those who fans rate much higher than is realistic simply because he’s at a big club. Arsenal fans do that a lot: insist their fringe players (like Nketiah and Reiss Nelson for example) must be top class when really they weren’t.
I'd posit that it's relatively easy to look good / keep clean sheets as Liverpool goalkeeper.

Only 138 shots on target against, last season, bettered only by Man City (128) and Arsenal (120). Much harder to look good as Brentford keeper (207 shots on target faced).

City are supposedly after Ait Nouri from Wolves as well.

Could Wolves be at risk? Their recruitment in recent years has been lacking and the loss of Cunha and Ait Nouri could spell trouble.
I think this is a good shout. I see at least one of Burnley or Leeds bridging the gap this year. Wolves could be in trouble.

Meanwhile it seems like Eric Ten Hag wants Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah as part of any deal with Liverpool for Florian Wirtz.

Elliott doesn't strike me as the brightest: would be interesting to see how he'd cope with moving to Germany.

This, with knobs on.

Mbeumo could be heading to Man Utd.
Sadly it shows the pull of Man United even when they're shit.

Mbeumo has improved massively in recent seasons. He used to be a handful but couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, and now he's scoring for fun. Fair play to the bloke. He's quite likeable, or at least he will be until he goes to Old Trafford.

Cunha and mbeumo, I can’t make my mind up if that’s good business or not. Two solid players that’ll no doubt improve them and I guess proven in the league. Man utd signing from mid table prem sides takes some getting use to.

Spank the Manc
The Man City spending spree begins.

€70m on Reijnders from Milan.
Also heavily linked to Cherki from Lyon, although he might come comparatively cheap given Lyon's troubles.

Was just going to post this

I watch a fair bit of Milan and he's a very good player, and seems like the sort that would do well in the PL(sadly)
