Just spoken to Southern Rail and they have confirmed there are additional trains from Brighton to Falmer today.

Silly old bat
None other than the ref

Or the assistant who doesn't know the offside rule. I've even seen one flag offside, from a throw in. Luckily the ref ignored it.

To answer the Seaford train question, the train is only about half full when it reaches Lewes but that depends if there are 4 carriages or 8.

If Manu starts we'll never be sure whether the decision is right or wrong - neither player nor lino knowing the rules.........

My journey was faultless

Well done Southern .

Ergo a completely pointless knicker wetting thread about nothing, well done

Not at all. The point was that Southern's preferred outlet for travel information and timetables (the National Rail journey planner) was showing only a half-hourly service. It's not good enough for Southern belatedly to advise people who take the trouble to ask that a different timetable is in operation. Southern need to take responsibility for telling passengers what times their trains are running. They didn't. They left it to passengers to get the information flowing. Not good enough.

Exactly. Thread was started due to completely incorrect information being available.

As it turned out that's the quickest I've ever got back to Lewes after a game. So much better not having the Eastbourne/Seaford fans blocking up the queue and platform afterwards. Hope the reported delays on the Eastbourne line don't delay people too much.

This. The trains were fine. The level of train information available to customers was pitiful. That information was patently available to the train companies in order for them to tee-up trains and crews, so why not share that information with the paying public?
