I cannot recommend Barrowlands to highly. Fantastic venue, insanely excited punters and just the right air of menace for a thoroughly enjoyable night out.

What was that club called in Shoreham, it was down a lane near the A283/259 roundabout?

We took a taxi out there years ago, me, my girl and a few mates on an invite. It was straight out of "Roadhouse". After an hour we popped smoke and left, I felt the urge to walk backwards until I hit the main road again, acting as rearguard for an ambush by the locals

It had numerous names over the years - Olivers, Occasions, The Casablanca - but was always known simply as the Basher. Truly a surreal place. Always a strong smell of pot in the air and I don't think I ever went in there without seeing at least one fight break out. It's loss is still mourned.

Used to got to The Nashville in West Kenshington. Always temporarily closed due to getting smashed up. Massive bundle at an Angelic Upstarts gig. Got closed down.
If in Hull steer of Victoria's Coffee bar in the old docks that is if that has not been closed down

The Coach* in Banbridge. Its like clubbing at a UVF dinner dance, but one at which theres some INLA men doing the door. Its just menace, though - the police barracks shares a wall with it and theres PSNI officers with machine guns outside at kickout time. Never any actual trouble.
