You'll have to explain to me why the Telegraph isn't to be a trusted news source?

For clarification it's not the only place I read the news
No I won’t because unless you have an IQ of 5, or are a Russian bot, you’ll be able to figure it out by yourself

Talking of made up people does anyone want to guess the full, correct name of Duran Duran’s bassist?
Without knowing the middle name, I'm guessing John Taylor. (His bass on Rio is outstanding.)

But since I haven't been following what tonight's debate is about, please please tell me now, is there something I should know?

Edit...and just to lighten the mood.

"Claimants could earn £3,000 more per year than minimum wage workers, according to analysis by CSJ

Analysis by the Centre for Social Justice think tank found people on the top level of sickness benefits now earn an average of £23,900 a year while those on the minimum wage take home just £20,650 after tax.

A new documentary, Britain’s Benefit Scandal, has found evidence that some low paid workers are now trying to get themselves signed off sick."

Are you able to post anything that isn't a cut and paste from elsewhere ?

You are literally NSC's in-house Twitter (formally known as are you able to post anything that isn't a cut and paste from elsewhere...)

To be fair you are now adding your content, which can be mostly summarised as I don't understand what I've just posted.

Put it this way. I took an annual subscription to the Daily Telegraph for £14 on offer. perfect because it's splendid for cricket coverage and good for sport in general.

I didn't read the other articles, they were dripping in right wing bias and it was clear that it wasn't reliable or, at a minimum, a distorted angle of truth.

I don't read any newspapers now, save articles that are neutral in their political standing, such as travel etc.

Of course, but when I'm met with laughing emojis and people who won't explain themselves..

Absolutely, it's difficult to know where to get reliable information from (judging by the responses on here) - that's why I try to read a broad spectrum

I used to quote a lot of the Guardian, depends what I'm reading
BBC and Al Jazeera for me. The advantage with the BBC is you can pick out the sub conscious angles that some write from. They are more transparent. It has flaws, but is probably the closest thing to independent media we have.
