How people can't see through him and his ridiculous 'arguments' astounds me. His pet 'Brexit' put us here....now he blames the situation elsewhere. We left the EU and are forced to make deals where we can.
It's laughable.

Well that's what I was thinking. GP's, NHS dentist's, skilled labour etc. You've gotta think labour have just made a complete balls up of their communication of the deal. Because on the face of it , it looks absolutely horrendous !! You would imagine the 3 years free NI will apply to jobs that actually need workers.
Thank you for bringing me round full circle. But as you correctly pointed out, it does
I do not like Farage but this Indian deals timing is perfection for Reform....can't really disagree with too much of what he's saying in this instance.
If we take what he says at face value, then it is hard to disagree. But I'm not sure we know the full facts and what the bartering has done for the UK's advantage. So we can't really comment. Unless we have read the whole thing- and understood it.
It's worth noting that the previous government were negotiating this deal too. There's a lot of people involved.
Farage, Boris Johnson etcThat's because, as a completely independent minor economic nation in the 21st century world of mega powers and economic blocs, we are in a piss poor situation to desperately try to negotiate trade deals to replace that big one we threw away and have to take what we can get.
I wonder why that is and who campaigned for years to put us in that position![]()
The Indians will pay IHS fees instead of NI. Immigration and Health Service fees. You've gotta think labour have just made a complete balls up of their communication of the deal. A dubious claim. And what is your version of Brexit that would have improved our economy?Brexit was not carried out by the governments...
Farage, Boris Johnson etc
Single market / customs union membershipA dubious claim. And what is your version of Brexit that would have improved our economy?
No Dwayne, WE already have this arrangement with other countries.I think Canada is one of those countries and 25% of Toronto's population is now south Asian !!
What benefits have you identified that would accrue from having our own bill of human rights as opposed to the ECHR? That is - what bits of the ECHR would you get rid of, and what bits would you keep?If ECHR is to be removed (again, unlikely at the moment) then I'd fully expect and hope a British bill of human rights to be implemented instead of losing all our rights currently granted by the ECHR.
Someone’s worried about an influx of cheap project managers. You've gotta think labour have just made a complete balls up of their communication of the deal. Because on the face of it , it looks absolutely horrendous !! You would imagine the 3 years free NI will apply to jobs that actually need workers.
And I'm trying to get better at quoting sources
It's more force of habit - it's not something I've ever really done, which is no excuse. When you read an online article your want to quote from, go to the top bar - highlight the address like this.

Then go to your post, and click CTRL-V together - and it inserts the hyperlink.
It's quite easy.
Stories like this:What benefits have you identified that would accrue from having our own bill of human rights as opposed to the ECHR? That is - what bits of the ECHR would you get rid of, and what bits would you keep?
Maybe if I was still a contractor yes indeed ! Previous governments have killed that as well. Dubai is calling for me.Someone’s worried about an influx of cheap project managers.
So we have an agreement with other countries that they can ship in workers and don't need to pay NI for 3 years ?No Dwayne, WE already have this arrangement with other countries.
So you want deportations without recourse to due process?Stories like this:
Lynthia Calliste was due to be deported to Grenada after she and her son overstayed their six-month visitor visa.
However, Calliste argued deporting her would separate her from her husband, violating Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights - the right to a family life.
The Home Office disputed this, saying Vinakovs had every right to join her in Grenada.
Calliste said he “would be unable to tolerate the cuisine in Grenada” and “worries about the heat” due to it being much warmer than the UK and his native Latvia.
Judge Mark Blundell dismissed her appeal in November but she has remained in the UK, exhausting all stages of appeal"

No, but if you over stay a visa you have no right to be in the country you are visiting and should be deported - if not then what's the point in visa's?So you want deportations without recourse to due process?
To El Salvador, perhaps?
