someone who is perceived as overly sensitive, easily offended, or focused on political correctness.
Nah. It dates back to the Lead Belly in the 1930s and is centred around racial discrimination. There was a guy on a James O'Brien show who was talking about it about a week ago, which is how I found out about the origin, but I can't find the video.

But in the current world of 'fake news' and 'you can/can't say anything anymore', I guess the definition can be anything anyone wants it to be

I have to congratulate all who have excelled themselves this morning. The response to last night has been exceptional. Its like a greatest hits of cliches which I've thoroughly enjoyed.
1. Its like the start of Nazi Germany in the 30's ✅
2. Its because of the "right wing media" ✅ (apart from the Daily Mail & Express which hardly anyone reads theses days I'm not sure who that is)
3. Those Reform voters are thick / brainwashed (or any of several sneering insults that suggest inferior intellect to those on the left) ✅
4. Brexit is the cause of everything negative to the economy (while totally ignoring the COVID lockdown & the Ukraine war & the state of other European economies) ✅
5. Liberal use of the word racist ✅
Maybe just maybe the fact that Labour have proved to be even worse than the last shower might have something to do with why people have voted Reform? Throwing insults at everyone you disagree with isn't a good look. Try debating without the condescending attitude perhaps?
This is the kind of patronising, condescending attitude that only makes people who don't like Reform more certain in their opinions. People like you need to do more to reach out to people to understand their concerns about Reform and why they're unfounded.

I would love every Reform voter to take a DNA test. Apart from Wales, northern Scotland and some Irish, we are all descended from boat people.

The irony is that Farage's ancestors came here as a result of the Huguenot persecution in France.
Just to mildly correct you, INCLUDING those other countries, it's important because reform have plenty of support in Wales, due example.

But labelling all reform voters dimwits, knuckle draggers, poor, politically illiterate, cranks, racists & delusional crackpots is fine then. That's only 4m people+ that so many on here are smearing instantly. Is that not patronising and condescending ?

One of Reforms main policies is to scrap net zero

"The party also wants to scrap subsidies for renewable energy, allow companies to drill for more gas and oil in the North Sea and fast-track nuclear energy.
Is this real or someone taking the pi55? It is hard to tell. I thought nuclear was a huge part of proposed nett zero.

Going against renewables so we stay reliant on imported power is so short sighted it is mad.

I genuinely think a few people on here should watch or listen to how the Nazis came to power. How they promised the world and demonised a certain population. It is mad how similar it all is. The rest is historyp podcasts are very good on it. The slow drip drip moving what’s acceptable etc. suddenly you get to the end and people realise Hitler was never anything else. I would suggest looking back at young Nigel to see what he stood for and people might well say the same!
If this is the case, and Reform are anti-democratic fascist, then why the hell Have The Tory's and Labour not started LISTENING to what the electorate are crying out for? For years, people have been belittled and dismissed. THAT is what gets fascists in power. The Nazis where elected, because the governing party's did not listen to the people.

Especially when so many on here have coherently and clearly explained not only Reform's policies and the benefits they will bring to the country but also the sterling characters that make up the Reform party, not least of all the spruiking of their fearless leader's accomplishments as he takes the political world by storm.

It's hard not to be impressed by them and their supporters.
