Do you know what proportion reach 24 weeks? It is minuscule. The ones that happen are virtually always because of critical to life issues. This is obviously not how it is portrayed by Farage and trump.

You're making things up. I don't default to thinking that all sick people are scroungers. You're an example of one who wasn't. But your example doesn't prove that there aren't any scroungers.

I worked with someone who played darts every Thursday, and was off sick every Friday. And as per my original post, there were people in the office who would not have been chuffed if he had been given 5 days' pay for a four day week, and few tears were shed when he left.

So the way to deal with this associate of yours (and your other similar friends and associates of which you regularly regale us) who lie to gain benefits they are not entitled to, is to vote for representatives of a party who lie to gain benefits they are not entitled to ?

Have you considered that with all these experiences of 'people cheating the system' that you seem to come across regularly, your situation may be improved more by changing your circle of friends and acquaintances rather than voting for Farage and co

There is a lot to be said for swapping made-up friends and acquaintances for real ones.

Although it is trickier to make the real ones say exactly what suits your narrative while bullshitting on a message board
